Our networks act as catalysts for new and emerging areas of research strength, creating a space for diverse expertise from across the University of York to develop into research collaborations that might not otherwise occur.

Our network leads span at least two different disciplines, helping to spark innovative ideas, develop interdisciplinary research directions, and secure funding for impactful projects.

Sub-network: Wasteshed Network

The Wasteshed Network works with refugee and host communities on issues of ‘wasteshed’ scale waste management, WASH and sustainable livelihoods.
