As an undergraduate, you’ll be studying for an academic qualification. Undergraduate courses typically involve three years of full-time study.
Some courses include an additional integrated Masters year, or have the option to add a year studying abroad or working in industry. Medicine courses typically run for five or six years.
We deliver courses through a mix of lectures, seminars and workshops, with some including practical training and extended work placements. Most courses end with a major project, often focusing on independent research.
If you're already studying an undergraduate degree at another uni, you can apply to spend time at York as a visiting student. You could study with us for up to two semesters, then returning to your own university to complete your qualification.
