The goal of SEI’s work around the world is to bring about change for sustainable development by bridging science and policy.
The research areas at SEI York include sustainable consumption, critical environment governance, health and wellbeing, air quality, climate and environmental change, and citizen science. Our research teams use a wide range of methodologies and approaches, from quantitative data analysis to creative participatory activities.
SEI York places a heavy emphasis on producing action-oriented research: our work is always completed with an eye towards implementation and applicability in real-world practice. We work in partnership with a large range of different organisations, from businesses to schools and community groups.
