Publication News: New Translation of 'Paris: A Poem'

In May 2025 the first Italian translation of Hope Mirrlees's modernist masterpiece Paris: A Poem (1920) was published with Interno Poesia, translated by Dr Nicoletta Asciuto. Nicoletta presented this new translation at the Salone internazionale del libro (Italy's international book fair), which takes place every spring in Turin. Nicoletta's translation was subsequently praised in a nearly full-page review in Italy's national newspaper Corriere della sera last week. The English Department's F. R. Leavis Fund contributed to covering the copyright costs for this edition.
