CECS director's book shortlisted for the Kenshur Prize

Congratulations to CECS director, Professor Chloe Wigston Smith!

Chloe's 2024 book, Novels, Needleworks, and Empire: Material Entanglements in the Eighteenth Century Atlantic World, has been shortlisted for the Kenshur Prize.

Awarded by the Centre for Eighteenth-Century Studies at Indiana University, the Kenshur Prize is an annual book prize to an outstanding monograph of interest to scholars of the eighteenth century working in a range of disciplines
