About us
Our vision
We aim to use our knowledge to drive change on policy, workplace equality and issues that matter to us all, in areas such as:
- Health Economics
- Applied Microeconometrics
- Econometrics
- Macroeconomics and Finance
- Economic Theory
- Economic History and Political Economy
Our work focuses on preparing economics graduates for achievement across a broad range of careers, as we offer combined courses in finance, mathematics, history, philosophy and politics.
Recent graduates now work for a range of companies such as Allianz, Ministry of Justice, NHS England and the Big Four accounting firms (Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, PwC).
Our courses offer an understanding of economic theory and quantitative methods and develop the key skills of critical analysis and evaluation. In addition, we emphasis the value and interpretation of empirical evidence and historical context.
