Accreditation: MA and MSocW Social Work

Our MA Social Work and MSocW Social Work courses are accredited by Social Work England.

After completing one of these degrees you can apply to register as a social worker. As a social work student you will be expected to adhere to the standards set out in the Social Work England professional standards.

Social worker is a protected title. You must not practise as a social worker until your application to join the register has been approved and you have paid the registration fee. Once you are registered, your name and registration number will be listed on Social Work England's public register.

You can apply to join the social workers' register when we've confirmed - to you and Social Work England - that you've successfully completed your course.

If you've already completed our MA Social Work or MSocW Social Work, you can apply to join the register. We'll let you know once we've sent Social Work England confirmation of your results.
